Withdrawal

Arnold Palmer was knock-kneed
  when he addressed the ball
President Clinton smoked weed
yet said he never inhaled at all

Tiger Woods fell in love with a Swede
though their marriage did sputter and fall
President Biden's been known to mislead
folks ~ He's still 'that senator' with a drawl

Hello Gershon ... I reckon you hit the nail on the head with this witty verse - thanks Gershon - Lindsay

Thank you, Lindsay, for redirecting my aim: Usually I smash my thumb with the hammer - as opposed to the nail. ~ In and out of Pain

I don’t believe the malarkey that Clinton did not inhale. Hmm..he was known to lie. Title is great…love the “with a drawl”…plays on the withdrawal theme.

You're right, for sure. Clinton never met a lie he didn't like. (-- or a lay, either, some say). And to think that America almost elected his wife President in 2016. How low can we go?! Can't even imagine how little self-respect she has to stay with a CREEP like Slick Willy. Oh, well. Different strokes...

Thanks, Evelyn. Those images of Arnold putting have stayed with me forever. I just loved Arnie's Army with their shouts of 'Charge.' Hasn't been a golfer to captivate the sports world since. (Tiger Woods, the philanderer, is not my idea of a 'captivating' hero exactly). Have a blessed Sunday, Gershon

This is a classic Gershon. I loved it. Especially the Clinton line. That line went round the world before the sun set. Lol. Thanks for the laughter. Nite xxoo

Thank you so much, Connie. --'But I never inhaled!' That was right up there with "It depends on what 'it' means." (Testimony about his relationship with Monica L.) Slick Willie never fooled me. That's for sure. :)
