Proverbs 15:15 – (KJV) All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast With God, there is limitless joy… A constant source of enthusiasm, A jubilation that will never destroy… Alive with more love than I can fathom With God, there is sweetest pleasure… Fullness of heart that is filled with strength, An exhilaration that we can’t measure… Gladness that goes beyond any length With God, there is a sense of pure wonder… Pearls of a great price, worthy of honor, Delight that lives and will never go asunder… Pure amazement that I’m really His daughter With God, there is unending enjoyment… Sincere appreciation for all that He gives, He gives my heart a feeling of amazement… Knowing that He truly loves and forever lives With God, there is the most intimate treasure… This relationship that is my life’s exultation, There is assurance that He is wise, so clever… With wisdom that teaches me the meaning of elation With God, there is genuine contentment… Peace that gives my spirit an honest satisfaction, He never allows me to brood with resentment… But causes unconditional love as my reaction With God, there is affection and happiness… The word He gave enlightens my heart and soul, So I know that I need not feel evil’s shabbiness… Because it’s all in God’s hands, beyond my control With God, there is the tenderness of a merry heart… He gives generously of His endless blessings, Sending answers to endless yearnings to impart… The way, the truth, the light of Jesus’ essence

I love the line: He never allows me to brood with resentment. There is great truth in this. It allows hate to fall and love to win. He lets us pause our thoughts to see where temptation will lead. He gives us pause and when we take the higher road we succeed. xx Kim
