With a White Painted Mark
A telephone pole
With a white painted mark
Next to a large rock
With moss on it
On top of a dirt patch
Where grass is near
And surrounds the scene
A small bush or tree
Wraps itself around the pole
Still revealing the white painted mark
Which marks this spot
As our area
Of pure romance
Where it all started
When love bonded us
And wrapped around each other
A spark of memory
In our minds eye
To hold always
By the telephone pole
With a white painted mark
