Macbeth! I love that you mentioned that! how descriptive is this! A pleiades on witches never sounded so beautiful before! Im in awe really made me make some faces too just thinking of how nasty they look! Yikes! Wicked witches so well depicted! Thats the power of words and how creative and talented poets like you could evoke such strong emotions! I wanted to use hag too but didnt uv used it well! Im sure this is a 1st! So good! Goodluck. Wickedly chilling, Valsa. A reference so clever, did you know that the witch's broom is from a deformity of a tree branch? I find a little bit of humor in wart nose line. Great entry!

Wizened hags, such true words.. Your take on this contest is very descriptive and a very good use of words beginning with W... I've seem some great poems for this contest and yours is up there with the best, I think Joseph will have a tough time picking winners..

Dearest Valsa, how perfectly you have captured these "wicked ramblers of night" -"wielders of black magic" -with their broomsticks and warts! I love the Macbeth reference.
