Wishing Well

Another coin I've thrown Into this wishing well Hoping I can get home Hope we aren't a kiss & tell I looked into your eyes Can't believe what I saw I swore I saw the sky Lost for words standing in awe Another stone I've thrown Down this old dirt path That we used to call home Memories showering me like a bath I used to romanticize The big city lights I used to fantasize Kept me up all night And now that I'm here And I'm away from you I feel so full of fear & I'm not sure what to do I need you by my side Help keep me sane Need you in my arms at night You're the only one who knows my brain Another coin I've thrown Into this wishing well Got one train ticket home Waiting for the bell
