Madness I see about me everywhere. I think by now we’re past the Aquarius phase. I want to speak out, but do I dare? So easily offended are folks these days. How much longer will the nonsense stand? Any politician that I see I surely do not want to shake his hand. Whatever has he done for you or me? They talk and talk while nothing’s getting done. Both crime and prices at the same time rise. How long until the rising of the sun? When will all wars cease? I only can surmise. As slow as shadows creeping up the wall, relief can seem so very far away. Living in an ever constant nightfall, I’m wishing for the light of a new day. Oh, precious light of dawn when truth shall reign- will I be around to see you shine? I think not; more suffering and pain are yet to come. (yeah, everything is fine) Some tell themselves that all is good and well, ignoring signs – preferring to stay blind while lunacy – like waves I’m seeing swell - are infecting every other person’s mind. For those who see what I see, please stand strong. I’m glad that some are on the page I’m on! Perhaps it really won’t be all that long before Dark is defeated by Dawn.

Dear Andrea, What I great, thought-provoking piece. I'm on the same page with you. Just keep seeking Kingdom of Heaven knowledge, the answers are all there in the voice of Jesus... if we would only listen. Keep seeking and speaking truth, my dear. Meantime, I always appreciate your poetry... from the soul. Carol Louise

The song you chose for this is excellent. I must say, your poetry possesses a captivating rhythm. I hope for an end to conflicts, for leaders to be truthful, and for innocent victims to be spared from suffering. Your prayers are thoughtful.

Our whole world is in a terrible state. There shall be wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places. It is reaching a point where we know the end is coming close, but we don't know when. The major of Atlanta said on the news yesterday that crime is down up there. Well, why am I still seeing evidence pointing in a different direction? Everyday there is at least one murder or attempted murder overnight. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Exactly what do they for us? My point exactly, they dont care and it remains that way from the very beginning! Real talk this is! What a powerful poem! I love it! Too many stay blind in this world, and silent, sad reality. Every word in this speaks volumes! Best wishes for the contest, i need to write for this contest too. Soon.
