Wiser

I'm a forlorn sunset, streaked with wise light of marine swells in heart's pulse.

Dearest Hiya, even in such a short form as this, your golden pen shines! Such beautiful melancholy balanced by the knowledge that after every sad sunset there is a "wiser" sunrise. You poetic talent radiates in brevity far beyond the confines of a monoku. Congratulations for your excellent win in Silent One's contest. Warmest wishes, my sweet friend.. ~Susan

The setting sun has earned his rest, but there's always something final about his sinking into the horizon that saddens me. Nicely written, Hiya.

You definitely are a wise soul my angelic star! I love how you’ve expressed here in such a creative and eloquent manner in just 17 syllables! How creative is that! A forlorn sunset! Despite the weariness of life that weathers your petals down, i see wisdom emanating through your marine swell heart, and for a young girl like you to feel this way is beyond strong of you! Keep the light close to your heart, and even if anyone tries to ever dim your light, remember you are more than any darkness!
