Winter's Musing
There are many weeks of winter left
The sky is low, dark clouds are filled with rain
I long to see a troop of daffodils
And some green where long the snow has lain
When winter days are short and darkness falls
To inner musings we are gently drawn
Dreaming, longing and yes, remembering
That soon we’ll see a robin on the lawn..
