So true, Sara. We've had 6 inches of snow overnight. However, I spend the morning in bed reading with a second cup of coffee at hand. But the snow shovel beckons. I enjoyed your posting. Best wishes, Brian

When its cold it really is cozy and i always tend to get more sleepy, your haiku is so soulful and hit’s strong, and flows well as always. I love your seasonal poems, especially how you’ve written “ cold fluffy whit soft” so delicately and vividly you’ve described! “ invites us to sleep” that sums up everything! Pleasure reading this brilliant haiku! As always! A fave for me

I'm the same way, Ink. When the weather is cold, I just want to huddle under my electric blanket and sleep...a long winter's nap so to speak. Thanks for your visit and for the fave. I'm humbly grateful! Enjoy your day, hugs, Sara

I can't imagine how hard that having that much snow on the ground and roads would be. It is pretty but dangerous. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

thank you, kind Sara K, for your visit. We don't get that much snow in Texas. When I lived in Indiana, snow that deep was the norm from about November to February before the 'melt' began. Have a pleasant Saturday, Sara

Lovely haiku, Sara. The main reason snow invites me to sleep, is because I am usually tired from shoveling it (lol). Have a nice evening... Charlie
