What a magical lofty display
In the snowflakes gentle interplay
Now that winter has brusquely arrived.
Teasing tiny squirrels have contrived
Endearing secret places to hide
Rounded precious acorns to abide.
Windowpane's faintly show frozen lace
On their enchanted cold glassy face.
Nature smiles at busy birds in flight
During dawning's early morning light
Entertaining us with their sweet song,
Requiting beings to get along.
