What a magical lofty display In the snowflakes gentle interplay Now that winter has brusquely arrived. Teasing tiny squirrels have contrived Endearing secret places to hide Rounded precious acorns to abide. Windowpane's faintly show frozen lace On their enchanted cold glassy face. Nature smiles at busy birds in flight During dawning's early morning light Entertaining us with their sweet song, Requiting beings to get along. Good Morning Connie. Winter does have a lofty display at that. You have displayed marvelous imagery for the reader. You also have captured this time wonderfully. The Acrostic isn't easy to make flow but you executed it with ease. Thank you for sharing your poetic work for this is poetry. Have a wonderful morning. Well done entirely.

An excellent Acrostic Connie and done so very well. Love the rhythm and rhyme and the pictures are perfect. I wanted to run out and give that squirrel some peanuts. From one to seven a 10 for sure. God Bless, JB

I saw a documentary on squirrels Judy, and they never forget where they have hidden their staches of food. It is amazing. They are such cute creatures to watch. Thank you for your nice comment. : ) 7

Love this one, Connie. I always wonder if the squirrels can find those acorns and nuts we feed them during summer weather? Have had some problems with the ER misdiagnosing a broken knee. My bone specialist says, no, my knee is fine. What good news. I got to take the awful brace off my leg. Love, daver

Oh I am so happy to hear that about your knee David. I am probably going to have to have a Knee operation this fall. My twin sister had one and she's happy with it. I saw a documentary on squirrels one time and they do remember where every single acorn is hidden. They still don't know how they do it. Thanks for your nice comments on my palm Dave. Take care love Connie

I was just thinking about you today and wondering how your Christmas and New Year's went. Our Christmas was very low-key and we stayed home for New Years. I enjoyed the impressive fireworks display put on by our neighbors. I hope that this will be a memorable new year for us all. Happy new year my friend to you and yours. Let's chat when you have time. Thank you CayCay. : )
