Winter, When You Are Pristine
Inhaling quietude, I face
a welcome tranquil scene.
A beautiful secluded place
greets my eyes with iridescent sheen
beneath a wintry sky serene.
Here along this country lane,
diamond flecks have interlaced
and softly fallen on terrain.
The dull and barren land has been effaced;
by dazzling snow my world is graced.
The air is fresh and crisp and clean.
Enchantment rules the day!
Winter, when you are pristine
and when grey clouds have fled away. . .
I welcome you to stay.
