We said goodbye to winter weather Welcomed the sweet freshness of spring birds fledging, new plants sprouting, then winter bites again cold winds from the north brings ice and snow natures way to say Woe. Wrote on 1st May 2017. May Premier contest, Sponsored by Brian Strand.

Hi Roy! Neat little poem. I enjoyed it very much. Short and sweet! And, congrats on your win. I just have one question: Didn't you mean to say "whoa" in the last line instead of "woe"?

Thank you so much for your very kind comment and congratulations Carole, I really appreciate your concern on my wording, I did have difficulty with my decision, what I had in mind was woe betide if we humans don't change our ways regarding our abuse of our planet, climate change, thanks again for your help I will consider your suggestion. :))
