I used to love popsicles as a kid... I haven't had one in ages. It's time to be a kid again! Best wishes, Keith

In the valley of Southern Calif where I grew up, that used to be a fear during winter nights...that the crop would freeze. Many a night would they light smudge pots out in the orchards, and the sky would be smoky, the pots would keep the fruit from freezing. This poem made me remember those old days. These days I think they use huge windmill type fans to keep the fruit from freezing. Well done Haiku~ Carrie
