Winter Magic
"It is the unspoken ethic of all magicians not to reveal the secrets"
David Copperfield
The earth is punctured by a green shoot
Spring conjured magic with Autumn loot
We know how it's done, but no one will tell
Winter the long indecipherable spell
The mist smoke of mystery, cloak of unseen
Ice is the mirror, creating contrasting scene
Everything meticulously planned and timed
Sleight of hand in motion, audience primed
Winter seems barren, out of sight things occur
Magic of energy that continues beyond inter
Incomprehensible no onlooker understands
So we'll leave it in the magician's capable hands
