Winter has begun
   It snowed all through the evening
    Covering the ground

Hello Alkas, Alka it would be a mild dy or a very cold day. The snow is white in color it can be very deep if it snowed all night. Also Snow storms happen and it could be very deep snow on the ground making it hard to walk or drive a car.There are times when it snows so badly that the schools are closed for the children. Salute my dear friend.
