I don't like the cold, but it does leave beautiful scenery. Great poem, Paul :)

A cool Haiku, Paul. But things are changing. Dawn light is early, one less blanket on the bed. All passengers brace for spring. Woohoo! Viv

I'd never come across this form until I joined soup, but it amazes me how so few words can paint such a vivid image of something .This one took me back to a harsh winter we had a few years ago with the icicles' that appeared everywhere. Regards Tom

A breathtaking Haiku Paul. Ice and snow can dramatically dress the landscape in gorgeous attire yet can be so destructive too. We had a blizzard in January that left trees looking like this, in a state of fragile beauty, and we have the broken limbs as souvenirs.. an enthralling poem! Warmest wishes my friend. ~Susan
