Winds of Change
Many times the wind has blown strong
Winds of change, pondering the wrong
Surviving with faith in each day
Waiting for calm to come my way
As the winds blew fierce against me
Stinging my eyes, I could not see
But, I tried and held on tightly
With all I believed, so mighty
Winds of change brought change within me
With every tear shed, I was free
Even when the thunder did roll
I would not let them steal my soul
I grew with the wind and survived
Came out of every storm alive
Here I am, standing to face wind
Knowing, what I cannot rescind
