I just noticed many of your early entries at PS were haiku; very nice. Loved this one for the focus on the wind, and the human aspect of wishing you had the power to console the tearful loved one. Touching.

Innovative juxtaposition of forces, Michelle! I'm reminded of this axiom of the Sages: "Who is strong? -- The one who rules his/her spirit." So, may it be with us all. Best wishes, Gershon Wolf

Thank you again - this was inspired by a summer I spent in Montana, where the winds are both forceful and gentle - Michelle
