Willow

"I will be the willow on your bedside", the geisha, Hongrang, wrote, and I will copy sentiment. I'll be by your vase of soft geraniums. There, I will plead for water, and sometimes I will wake you by my leaves. I will brush your soft cheek gently and say I want a drink. I will only want the softest water, and you must draw it for me from the well. Let your hands stroke me while you give it. Call me Salix, if you will. ------------------------------------------------- Salix is the Genus. 8/21/2015 Contest - Trees Personified Sponsor - Charlotte Jade Puddifoot 3rd place win
