Will She, Won'T She
WILL SHE, WON’T HE?
He said, “Do you love me,
Could you promise to be true?”
She said, “That may well be;
Would you guarantee that too?
We said we’d marry soon,” said she;
Should we do it, me and you?”
Alas that prospect made him wince.
The lass has never seen him since.
