Why You, Why Now, Why Here, Why Me
I am a man who walks through time
I see before it started and the end of the line
I can see your birth and be a witness to your death
Why am I sat here?
Perhaps I just need a rest?
I know everything there is to know
I am power itself let the truth be told
I can balance inaccuracies in the human line
I see the truth and know the lies
There you go asking me questions again
Because of my shoe leather or my fountain pen
Because I have an air in the way I talk
You think it's strange so you want to know more
Ok then I'll tell you why
I chose this seat in this place of time
I am here to make sure that you live
The wise guys are coming to this place you live
You've witnessed something and they know
Your silence will stop the truth from being allowed to live
Don't believe me?
That's fine I guess
But if you don't come with me
Your life is going to be more than a mess
We've got twenty three minutes before they arrive
Come right now with me if you want to live or die in the field out back tonight
It's really time for you to decide
Still more information needed from me?
Why you, why now, why here, why me?
But seriously, 338 years from now
A small ship appears through high cloud to a waiting crowd
With a woman who just saved a planet far away from here
With 190 billion lives from death, insanity and fear
She managed to set warring parties straight
Her name is Juliet Knowles-Hyde
That's right Mr Knowles-Hyde
If you die tonight
They don't live
