Why Father

JOHN BUNYAN anticipated future, OUR neutral nomenclature
Some say God is "too male" - 'twere better "goddess" and "Mother"
My "preacher" saw sins since Adam and Eve, Face of Salvation:
"Such a comfort to call Grace, 'Abba, Father' - beyond ONE generation."

NOTES:
1. J. Bunyan, Works, I, pp. 627 ff. He adds, the one word spoken in faith us worth more than thousands filled with pride, "Father"
2. I am a Christ follower according to the Scriptures (both Testaments) but I empathise with those who, for want of a sensitive father in Earth, have doubts about the Goodness of our Father in heaven

I agee with you Anil. God is a male. I don't want to be the person who stands in front of a Holy God. Who made such a remark calling "Him", transgender. This is an anathema and is truly the work of the devil. "Fight the good Fight" Anil....... Prayers ~ Debra

God is not transgender nor a female,ge was a historic figure, We lay all our twisted sex trips on God! Its sick. Now we teach kids to question their own sexuality.? Worse to question God! Shame on humans for besmirching the Creator Pangie

I agree with you Anil, but to each his, her or it's own. I prefer Father, Son and Holy Ghost (old school), but Our Creator works for me as long as the Creator is recognized as God. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us Anil. Your friend, Bill Following you now. :-)
