Why a Firm Believer Never Gets Too Weary
Why a firm believer
never gets too weary
to stop believing
in his creed that
shapes his fervent faith?
That answer comes
from his truthful lips,
he has craftily built
stone upon stone,
never cracked a bone,
giving fortitude its worth;
when he posed he was praying,
when He inhaled air
he was feeling happy!
Do you love yourself,
do you trust yourself
more than others
trust you? Shaking a hand
is a sign of friendship,
running away from tears
is a sign of weakness;
seek everywhere, find that friend
who values your relationship
and goes to greater lengths!
Why a firm believer
never gets too weary
and contemplates life
offering pleasure and strife,
some joy and much grief;
who has sought perfection
has been deluded in his quest;
who trusted others fully
has been betrayed
and also deserted...
does he have an ounce of hope left
to denounce his deception?
Does friendliness
improve moods...
when one chooses to hide
and not seek helpful advice?
It could be the confidence we've lost,
then let's reach out to sympathy because
the understanding surpasses and soothes
grief and unlikely fleeting moments that
impose a hefty cost on us: we must
be swift enough or expect the worst!
