Who Is Jesus
I could tell you who I think Jesus is
What good would that do you
Some say a prophet, a good man
Others say the Savior
Yet how do you know what is true
I could say read the Bible
where His story is told
A man born of a virgin, Son of God
Did miracles, taught love and forgiveness
A Shepherd hoping to bring many into His fold
Eventually, many leaders were jealous
Nailing Him on the cross, such deadly foes
Three days later, His followers, disciples saw him
spoke to him touched the nail holes
A joy a miracle, Jesus the Savior had arose
I could tell you who I think Jesus is
How do you know what I say is true
If you really want to know
why not simply ask God or your higher power
to reveal Himself to you
For some to believe in Jesus
they will need to be brave you see
They will lose family and friends
Maybe even die, just as Jesus died
for our sins to set us free
Seek and ye shall find, do you hear my voice
I am knocking at your door
Sometimes you find me in a picture, a song
a person, the Bible, nature, a church
Simply ask, reveal yourself Jesus
I want to know more
