Who Did I Interview This Time
She shares her face, she shares her name
She shares her local dancing fame
She hides her self, she hides her pain
She hides whilst trying to over explain
She's this, she's that, she's no one you know
She's all the truth or perhaps all show
She's rollercoaster emotion brain
But on the outside just acts the same
She's redeeming features, merit marks
She makes an entrance, sets off sparks
She sits by herself, whirling words around
Diving into paintings, writing it down
She's a validation seeker to her demise
She knows this path isn't wise
She doesn't swear, she doesn't smoke
She drinks pints, likes a laugh and joke
She's sophisticated through some eyes
She's from mean streets and tells no lies
She rolls with the punches and doesn't care less
She's a sensitive soul, she'd like to confess
She shares her heart, she shares her shame
She shares how she always feels to blame
She hides her light, she hides her self
She dies inside trying to be somebody else
