Whispers of the heart
She walks in beauty, like the moon at night,
Shining bright and warm, like the sun's first light.
But my love for her is one-sided, alas,
And my heart aches with sorrow as I pass.
Her eyes are like stars, her smile like a rose,
Her laughter like music, my heart overflows.
But she cannot see the love in my eyes,
And my heart is filled with silent sighs.
I long to hold her and tell her my heart,
But fear of rejection keeps us apart.
So I'll just admire her from afar,
And love her in silence, like a shooting star.
Though my love may be unrequited and true,
My heart will always belong to her, anew.
For she is the moon and the sun to me,
And my love for her will forever be......
