Whispers From God

When I come to the river I hear him whispering softly to me, “Sit and just listen to the water and leave all the hard stuff to me. Rest in the shade of the oak tree and listen to the words that I say. I’ll tell you what is important here by the river today.” So I rest in the shade of the oak tree and I sit there most of the day but before it is time to go back home I bow down my head and I pray, Father I thank you for my faith, my family, my friends and my home but mostly I thank you for your love and the whispers you send from above.

I enjoy your work ! Your heart is evident and gives itself to all who will share. I recognize it in the sincerity. We as poets struggle put into words the flowing rivers of color which rush through our soul with but one hope others will feel our heartbeat in the reading. Beautiful.

Thank you so much Panagiota. I am no saint however, just a sinner saved by grace. Blessings, Susan
