Notes About The Poem

Whispers

Eternity never seems to last
Viewing life through misty windows
October winds wrapping fears
Love dancing with lonely tears

Lost in dreams
Other illusions scream
Voyages all but gone
Eternal voices, lay me to rest

Arthur, what a beautifully scripted masterpiece. Speaks volumes and the emotions just pour through each verse. A very moving read. You've also painted an awesome picture!

Indeed, Arthur, the passage of time coats that youthful optimism with the rust of age. A fine write. Regards, Viv
