Whirlwind
Life becomes a whirlwind
As I feel like the copper colored leaves
All tumbling through the air
I reach up to the vast blue skies,
Still smiling at the sun for being here today
Wishing for relaxing time or just to run and play
Where all is quiet and I am free
My heart wants to go faster than me
So, I try to slow down the beat with images
Of the sprawling white clouds above the hill
Those waiting to capture orange and pink colors
Of the sunset through the trees, for me to see
So then, my mind will be at ease
