While You Laid There Sleeping

Last night I said "I love you," while you laid there sleeping. Words that clearly raged my head but often feared to reach my lips which you so gently kissed, just before, you laid there sleeping. Words only my arms before would speak as we laid weak, but still embraced, so close that not a trace of air would dare to find its way between our bodies locked, still moist with passion as I lay upon your chest, felt your breath and wondered if you thought I was asleep when I heard you say "I love you"
