Where the Tears Fall

We may not see where the tears fall Raining inside, the depth of a heart Hidden by smiles, hidden from all Maybe just listening is a start To hear what is truly being said During conversations simple or not Stepping out of our minds instead Forgetting about past battles fought Another person’s pain can run so deep Waiting for moments to be understood A simple reminder for them to keep They’re not to blame, forget the should Where the tears fall is not always seen By each of us in our travels to reveal Through life, broken dreams also do mean Kind gestures can help another to heal Heidi Sands 5/23/17
