Where Is Everybody-If Only, Maybe, Sometimes
I saw on TV that the perfect pair of jeans was on sale,
So I jumped into my car and drove like a bat out
of hell.
I just had to make it to the store and be the first anxious shopper waiting in line,
No one was there I felt so ecstatic, the feeling
was so divine.
The grand opening was going to literally be in any second ,
Those amazing and new pair of jeans were calling
my name, they beckoned.
I waited and waited but the doors never opened and to my surprise, I only stood in line.
I just stood there weighing my options as to why, I started to whine.
Until I noticed “ Grand opening August the fourth,
I was a day too early,
If only…. I had watched the entire ad on tv, now
I have to call my bestie Shirley.
