Where Does Santa Sit
Where does Santa sit when he is tired and weary?
On the park bench in the forest wood so white.
When his lonesome ways seem dark and dreary
he can reflect on his kind mission of the Eve night.
O, look! It’s Prancer, his favorite reindeer friend!
When Santa is sad, a friendly hoof he does lend.
Where does Santa try to remember the kid’s names,
or if they’re naughty this year, or if they’re nice?
For the sassy children he won’t put those games,
instead he tucks in huge chunks of freezing ice!
For the good girls and boys he brings laughter…
for that is really the only thing that lives ever after.
Where does Santa sit when he is feeling too old?
On a park bench where he can sit in silent awe.
For the Winter has arrived in sheets of cold,
but it’s the most beautiful sight he ever saw.
So if on a park bench you see Santa chilling…
remember he’s about to endure a night so thrilling!
