If there ever comes a prayer
When He’s no longer there
Where will I go?
If there ever comes a plea
When He fails to listen to me
Where will I go?
If there ever comes a night
That my heart is filled with fright
Where will I go?
Where can I go – only to Him
The One who saved my soul
And is there to make me whole
He is the only place I can find
To hide my thoughts when I’m lost
To heal my faith when I doubt
To guide me home when I’m down
To share my dreams, my needs, my beliefs
And know that He will always give
The best advice, comfort, counsel
He will always reassure me, cure me
Feed my faith with amazing grace
If there ever comes a time
When I have lost all my hope
Where will I go?
If there ever comes a day
When I hurt too much to just pray
Where will I go?
If there ever comes a friend
Who turns out to be a enemy
Where will I go?
Where can I go – only to Jesus
The One who forgives my sins
Helps me to begin again
Fills me with faith that lives
And dries up all my tears
Where can I go? Only to Him
The One who makes a way
Where there seems to be no way
The One who fills me with love
When I feel sure I’m totally numb
The One who leads me toward home
When I have lost all control
Where can I go? Only to Jesus
He is always there to take away the fear
Filling me up with joy, peace and hope
Leaving me sure I know the way to love
Is felt inside a heart that is under His blood
Where can I go?
If not to Him… I have no hope
If not to Him… I have no way
If not to Him… I have no peace
If not to Him… I have no salvation
If not to Him… I have no life worth saving
Where can I go?
Only to Jesus – my hope, faith and comfort
The One sent from up above
To assure me God is Love
