Whenever I, Do Remember You

Whenever I... do remember you Whenever I... do remember you... I feel..a tender warmth, consoling my pain, as, your compassionate heart was what rescued me... from the bane, of my fractured state. Shine on, dear one! Whenever I... do remember you... unsurpassed joy... washes over me, like a tidal wave, vanquishing my sorrow, and, refreshing my aching soul. Shine on, dear one! Whenever I... do remember you... a placid peace, overwhelms my mind, supplanting charcoal skies, with resplendent beaming rays, from your shining eyes. Shine on, dear one! Whenever I... do remember you... I come alive, resurrected by, the fragrance of your love, I am revived, by inhaling, perfumed memories of our... amour sans fin. Shine on, dear one! An endless love, indeed! I love the graceful melody of your melancholic poem, John. It is so genuine in the poignant emotional reverie of someone you hold so dear to your heart and soul. Your rhythmic lines, wondrous metaphors and lovely refrain combine to create a beautiful poetic experience.. Your imagery reminds me of someone who may have passed on.. 'supplanting charcoal skies with resplendent beaming rays from your shining eyes. Shine on, dear one! So blissful! Warmest wishes, my friend..

And this poem shall "shine on" as well! I love to check out your non-Lyric works, because most could be songs of their own, as you are such a master of rhythm and flow ... this is so tender and romantic, and lush with its melancholy poignancy and charm. Just adore this one, John - superb!

Thanks Greg, funny how you mention this could be a song, I was going to do it as a lyric but decided to go with a refrain instead, which gives it a melodic feel, thanks for the nice visit!
