When You Smile- -

When you smile; It brings me to tears; Because a smile really covers up all the fears; Of those lonely days When you are alone; Of those phony days when men wanted you for their own; When you smile; It is worth $1000000 but then darling; It doesn't matter; You smile I know you're happy I know you feel lonely days when you are alone; Of the only days when man wanted you for their own; They treated you like dirt; Made you hurt; Modeled you like clay; Please, please girl permit me to say; And when you needed them they were never around; They let your smile change; If and into hurting you sprung up and all by the time you are just; I'm up and down up and down; When you smile; The world is yours; Darling you're more pricey I'm so intrigued; That I won't be with you forevermore; That I want only to be with you alone; I won't only be yours, bad so sad and lonely; That one day I'll find another Cherie Amour; I'll always love you even when you're sad and blue girl my darling; I'll always be fair and true I won't treat you like that; I feel the world around you I won't model you like clay; I paint a picture of you please girl; Pursuit me make me stay; In your life sharing your smile forever and a day; When you need me I'll always be around; I will not leave your hurt around; Be happy smile ; And I now the happy the clown; Here to cheer you up when you're down; When you smile you bring me to tears; 6/14/74 Written by James Edward Lee ©1974, 2019
