When We First Met
A fluttering feeling in my chest
Butterflies dancing in my stomach
Excitement shining in my eyes
Passion overflowing my heart
That was how I felt
when my eyes first landed on yours
When I saw you on the dance floor
And we shared our first smile
You asked me to dance
With a flourish and a bow
That made me giggle, so I accepted
We twirled while the music flowed
Your eyes shined with mirth
You charmed me with your talk
With every story you told
I fell more and more in love
Some may not believe
That love can happen at first sight
But I know it does, indeed
Because I fell for you that hard
Our love story has no end
For we're together still
Dancing our way through our days
Sharing our lives and feels
