When The Earth Stood Still
In the year 2026,
people from all around the globe declared PEACE ON EARTH. They had had enough of all the wars and mismanagement of the planet’s resources. There was no announcement. No sirens of warning. Only a domino effect that changed the world forever, once and for all. It started with a select few of enlightened beings who sat in a circle meditating, singing and praying. Time passed in a blink of an eye, Cosmically speaking. The group refused to eat until everyone everywhere joined them. Soon, people from all ends of the map decided to stay home and join the “circle.” It wasn’t long until a worldwide hunger strike was in full commencement. All commerce halted. The Global economy collapsed.
Fasting. Fasting allows one to feel the pangs of suffering. For not everyone is as fortunate to never have to go hungry. Food on the table is never an issue. Fasting. Fasting gives the body a “holiday.” Water is Life. To fast properly, one must drink H2O. It flushes out toxins and any unwanted bacteria or parasites. Starves them out. Refreshes the body, spirit, and soul. On a global scale, it flushed out War and all unwanted political parasites with hidden agendas. Fasting. Fasting is the most basic and sacred of sabbaths. It is backed by God. It aligns with His will. Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. And those who are starving, your prayers have been heard. Granted. And then there is Ghandi, need I say more.
Billions joined the cause. By day 26, when more than 50% of Earth's population was reached; something amazing happened. Soldiers put down their arms. Those who became enlightened put up theirs. More and more joined the movement until ultimate velocity was achieved. It grew exponentially out of control. More than 60% by day 30. 70% by 32. 80% the next day. 90 percent tip the scales of balance so far there is no going backwards, ever again. By day 40, 99 % of the population had seen the “Light.” And the hunger strike ended. Just like that, the Earth stood still.
Never again, has anyone starved since that day so long ago. The spirit and soul, included. It was as if everyone everywhere discarded their faith in the flesh and disrobed. And put on a new body. A godbody. Humanity has given new meaning to Earth’s legacy. Never before seen in our history did Mankind come together to resolve our problems globally. Today, the skies are blue with not even a hint of pollution. Global warming has reached mythological status. Fossil fuels are nonexistent. No one throws trash on the ground indiscriminately. The oceans have been purified. Plants and animals previously thought extinct are reappearing even to this day. It’s as if the land itself is returning to its natural state. One may even say, Eden or Heaven on Earth.
