I pause to rest when silence speaks
and listen to its sound
so it may touch my heart it seeks
with beauty that I've found
Without a word, I hear it sing
softer songs from a bird
to my heart and ears, it will bring
the sweetest sound I've heard
I close my eyes to feel its song
and find a tranquil peace
in my soul, peaceful thoughts have spread
in dreams that never cease
