When Rainy Night Is Over
R-ainy night is over,
E-ventide passes from view;
N-ew dawn has broken,
Y-our heart is not in blue.
F-alling rain is over,
A-s the cold chill is gone;
L-ights in the sky above
A-re coming from the sun.
M-ay twenty-first morn
I-s breaking in pure delight;
N-ice beacon slowly rises
I-nto the zenith burning bright.
A-fter the twilight has faded,
N-o more dusk to remember;
O-nly the day is shining, when rainy night is over.
