When Nature Smiles

When nature smiles, she kindly brightens up our days. When nature smiles, most splendidly she drifts for miles - removing skies of gloom or haze. We feel her grace in warming rays when nature smiles. For A Strand (1074) Poetry Contest

Nature must have frowned on us for the past couple of days. We have had a lot of rain here in New Jersey. Your poem says a lot in just seven lines.

What a graceful write, Andrea! I loved how you went about this contest. You know me, I'm a buzzing bee who likes to prod writers .... I want MORE! I know, I know, this is enough for the contest, but I see this as a series... when nature scowls, when nature weeps... come on, girl.... try 1 or 2 more? Shoo me, lol, go ahead. I know you're running ragged and have no time and I add to your list of to do's. What kinda friend am I? Ha! A poet friend who sees a few more verses in ya! TICKLE TICKLE :)

The sun is out, the temperature's down. Natures wearing both a smile and a frown. Winters here all dressed in white. Let's face it, without snow, it just aint right. :) Good luck. Such an uplifting poem Andrea.
