I relive petty torments
The way you teased me
The way I displeased you
The scars I needn’t show
With nowhere else to go
Avoided you miserably
Your need for turbulence 
had held me hostage 
Your drama
Day by day 
Flashes of you
Only glimpses of possibility
Vows of a better life 
When I look back

I Am Anaya Date: 4/23/2023 8:52:00 AM It stays a thing of denial, and the abuser usually is never aware of their abuse, they think its normal and doesn't end there, they take on rolls in other communities. Like an abusive father, a mother 's abuse of her child can be heartbreaking and goes on with strangers after the child is grown. Some sort of control. And we must not enable them, I've always respected the elderly, but not if they are abusive.
