When I Hear Your Name Lord
When I hear your name, Lord
I exalt in sincere gratitude-
When I hear your name Lord
it seems to change my attitude.
When I listen closely to what You are teaching,
when You softly whisper through a moment of preaching,
when You grant me mercy while on bent knees,
is when I feel most comfortable with my soul at ease.
I feel in complete debt as I go about my day,
I need you to be in my heart in every single way,
for you are the reason for the pure air I breathe,
and when I say your name, I shall always believe.
