When angels war against Lord of the Flies, and saints oppose profane demons of doubt, the skeptic, cynic, and the worldly-wise, the terror within consumes God's devout: fear, disease, pain, war, death, all the horrors of Eve's sin for heeding that serpent's lies, and doubting the One in whose bright mirrors we beings behold ourselves to immortalize His glory. Doubt, like hope, increases faith; and faith, like belief, multiplies God's grace, so that at length trust comes by power and strength through Him who made earth and the human race. To the Father of Lights, all are the same: as Yang answers Yin, faith snuffs out doubt's flame.
