When
Poetry's something that's unexplainable
Where the minds willing the pen is able
Just as an author beginning a book
With one word an intriguing novel’s struck.
Same as a chef cooks up newfound dishes
That tempt tastebuds with delicacies
Or artists with inspired motivation
Painting many a superb creation.
Musicians who compose melodic tunes
Enhancing enchanted romance to bloom
Choreographers who create dance moves
Urging folk to put on their dancing shoes.
Enthusiastic actors learn their lines
So their performances are fine and shine
Doctors and nurses with life saving skills
Treat and deliver us from hurts and ills.
Teachers inspire learning, it’s their purpose
Without schooling one’s life would be worthless
All sorts of talent and all works of art
Are imaginings felt deeply in heart.
There is plenty to gain and naught to lose
When one is in the mood and finds their muse.
