What's It Like To Be a Teenage

What's it like to be a Teenage, People say this is the golden age. An age full of unusual possibilities, But do they tell you about the difficulties? I heard being judged, I heard about unwanted standards which are indulged. Rough emotions seem to ablaze like no other, Anger, regret, grief and sadness grow altogether. They tell you it's typical, But it is really too difficult. But we have to make it through, Stand strong and make our dreams come true. New challenges will always be coming on the way, Because there is a new question paper in everyday. Written on: 25/3/22

Teen years are great years. My advice if I may Komal. Find friends that have the same standards as you. Surround yourself with them andsupport one another through school. Always be kind and treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. Stay away from people that will cause you trouble or are looking for trouble. Study hard and do the best you can in school. Always question everything do not trust anyone do research, knowledge is power remember knowledge is power. Start thinking of what..

Yes I do try to stay away from trouble as it is my last year in this school and I do treat everyone kindly. I also find to do some fun because I would be regretting it in future as i will remember about school days. Yes, I do try my best in studies and try to score as much I can and revise everything at home. Being a teenager has never been and will never be easy, Komal. What I know for sure is that in my days there was less pressure on us, and expectations were less pronounced. I have to wonder about "golden age", it doesn't seem so golden right now; maybe in a few years. Teens have it tough right now. Every new generation is a chance for the human race to do better; I keep up the hope that the next generations will have the solutions to our problems. Powerful feelings penned here.

I started writing when I was 13 years old. I'm 61 now and inside I've never aged, although externally it shows just the opposite. At that time I realized that adolescence was the essence of existence. I believe this to this day, as I continue to write on similar topics. It's a pleasure to read your poems and see your descriptive ability and poetic vein spring up in you... keep it up, komal!
