No mask you wear can disguise The hate that lurks behind it The truth is there in your eyes Where anyone can find it The malice that you carry Only eats you up inside So now you'd best be wary Before all once good has died

Hi Randy, I reiterate John's comments on this penning. "the eyes are the windows to the soul". I sadly think that so many of us are so self-absorbed and stuck in "our little lives" or perhaps "big lives", what ever, that it's never going to change for humanity and other forms of life here.

Hi Nancy, you know the sad thing is, nobody is born hating anyone until they're taught to. So, until parents stop pounding hatred into their children, humanity is going to hang on by a slender thread. Thanks for the feedback.
