This is my first attempt at a pantoum. Feel free to criticize. It's the best way to learn. I hope it's right:)

Tomorrow brings the blue bird's song Hand painted clouds at sunrise Hummingbirds humming over red bee balm Bumblebees buzzing with butterflies Hand painted clouds at sunrise That very first smile of the day Bumblebees buzzing with butterflies Laughing at work and at play That very first smile of the day My lungs filled with fresh morning air Laughing at work and at play A moment for silent prayer My lungs filled with fresh morning air Hummingbirds humming over red bee balm A moment for silent prayer Tomorrow brings the blue bird's song June 12 2017 by Daniel Turner

Enjoyed reading your work..Your final stanza turned out well so you did good with the work..I can't remember the rules on this form always have to look it up when I want to write one but it seems that you did it like you were suppose to do it..Thanks for the visits to my page..Sara

This is so beautiful Daniel, the fresh smell of the morning and the hand painted clouds fill my smell and sight. I have never seen humming birds and would so love to see them. May the sound of the blue birds be with you...Beautiful and a Fav...Maria

I've tried Pantoums before, and could never get it right, this is a testimony to your talent Danny! Great imagery and flow, even lyrical with the repeated lines, will do well in the contest, but then, what do I know! lol

I believe I haven't tackled a Pantoum yet, Danny, so I am at a loss re syllable count (if there is a rule about it). Otherwise, the poem itself is a delight to read...the images outstanding...the serene feeling most welcome, and the repetition works well. ~ Regards // paul
