What Was That
I thought I saw something scurrying,
Under my little bird house.
I crept up to investigate,
To make sure it wasn't a mouse.
When I got there,
To where I thought it was there,
There wasn't a mouse about.
I know it's a bit of a tongue twister,
About something that I thought I saw.
I will have to stop feeding those little birds,
They keep dropping the food on the floor.
But it's great to feed the little birds,
In their little bird house.
But it costs me a fortune to feed them,
So I can't afford to feed a mouse.
