What the Gospel Is Not
The Gospel “is not,”
Only About money.
No, Not of any sums of a lot of greenbacks,
and not about abdominal six packs.
The Gospel “is not,”
About cars or beautiful toys.
The Gospel “is not”
About a natural marriage,
or any earthly relationships.
It is certainly “not about,” works and not about rules;
and a pair of fancy shoes.
Yes, even though looking good is always cool.
It is Not about fame and definitely not games.
The Gospel “is not”
About titles, nor winning battles.
It is The Gospel “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”
He dying for our sins; and His Resurrection triumphant.
